The Storm Is Not Always Bad! “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10)
The road of life has twists and turns, sometimes the road is closed, you look around and don’t know which way to go. But, the storm is not always bad! You find a detour and you think I’m okay now, but a tree blocks the road, you say to yourself “God where are you?” But the storm is not always bad! As you sit there wondering what to do next, you hear the voice of God, and He says “my child I am always here and I want you to know that the storm is not always bad.” I needed to get your attention. There are some changes you need to make. You must let some things in your life go so you can grow. Your storm is not always bad! You just need to trust in me and remember I know the plans I have for you and even though you must go through some pain, The storm is not always bad! You think your storm is only affecting you, but you never know, God may be blessing someone else when they see how you weathered your storm. I am convinced my brothers and sisters, The storm is not always bad! It starts to rain harder, the wind is strong, the thunder loud, you wonder will daylight ever come? You think you will just float away but, remember the storm is not always bad! All of a sudden, you realize the rain has stopped, the wind is quiet, the thunder has gone away, and you look up to the sky and see the beautiful rainbow. You know there is hope if you believe and have faith. The storm is not always bad! God tells us “He will never forsake us or leave us alone, even when the storm is raging in our life.” Some of the storms we face are for our good -- some storms we bring on ourselves. But, the storm is not always bad! God knows the hurt and pain we feel and He knows when we have done wrong. Just hold to God’s unchanging hand and remember the sun will surely shine again in your life. Trust God to show you in His time, the storm is not always bad! Written by Etrulia(Trudi) V.
