Easter Program - April 17, 2011

The program opened with a song by the congregation and the call to worship was done by Sis. Dorothy Franks with prayer by Sis. Marcia Almond and scripture was read by Sis. Edwina Perrin.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.’” (John 11:25-26) KJNIV

The Poplar Spring Missionary Baptist Church Annual Easter Program was performed by the youth. They recited speeches that glorified the resurrection of Christ who rose on Easter morning and in the faith that we have in His return to claim His own! The PSMBC Excellence of Praise Dancers also performed. Presentations were announced by Sis. Beatrice Ballenger. The children were wonderful - as usual! And they performed excellently! Pastor Freeman and the Poplar Spring Missionary Baptist Church family truly believe in training up a child in the way he should go.
