Rev. Thomas Dendy is a native of Fountain Inn, SC.  He is the son of the late Roxie (Bet) Irby and Clarence Dendy.  He is the youngest of 8 children.  Rev. Dendy graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1982.  He also graduated from the University of South Carolina where he was an outstanding football player.  He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 1986.  Presently, he attends Tabernacle Bible College.

He is married to the former Charita Robertson.  Together they are the proud parents of Miss Logan Dendy. He is also the proud father of Ms. Amber Williams.

Rev. Dendy is currently employed at Roadway.  As an Associate Minister at Poplar Spring, he works with the Children's Church and also teaches Sunday School.   The most important thing about Rev. Dendy is that hs is saved by grace.
